Terms of sale

These terms cover the plans bought through this site’s link to the BaobabSIM store. The seller of record on every order is LuKas Holdings sp. z o.o., the address in the seller block on this page.

What you buy

A prepaid data eSIM for South Africa, on the store’s Africa regional plan. It is a data plan: no phone number comes with it, and your own number stays on your phone for calls and messages. The plan roams on a South African partner network, so data roaming is turned on for the eSIM line; the plan is prepaid, so roaming cannot add charges to it.

Prices are shown in US dollars, tax included, before you pay.

Checkout, delivery and support

Checkout, payment, the order page and support run on baobabsim.com, the company’s store for Africa and the Middle East, and its terms of sale apply to your order together with this page. The QR code appears on your order page right after payment, and the store emails you the link. The QR code is personal: anyone holding it can install the eSIM, and most phones install a code only once.

Refunds

If the eSIM does not work and we cannot fix it, you get a full refund. You also get a full refund if the eSIM is not delivered. A working eSIM is not refunded for a change of mind. The refund policy has the detail.

We are not a mobile network and not connected with any South African carrier; network names on this site are the trademarks of their owners and are used to describe the country’s networks. Nothing on this site is legal, medical or travel safety advice.
